White Tree Frog

White tree frogs are found in northern and eastern Australia, the islands in Torres Straits, New Guinea, Indonesia, and have been introduced to New Zealand. They eat insects such as crickets, cockroaches, locusts, moths, and beetles.

These frogs are known for their large toe pads and webbed feet; also, their eyes are different from most frogs, as they have horizontal pupils (most frogs have vertical pupils).

The white tree frogs secrete a waxy covering over their skin that helps them retain water.
