Kadek is 16 and studying to become a Shaman. His father is a shaman and his grandfather was one as well.

He lives in a small village in Bali, Indonesia and tells the story of when he was 12 someone in his village was poisoned because of jealousy. It happened that the deadly puffer fish poison was used for the intended murder. 

A priest was consulted as well as Kadek’s father, him being the local shaman.  It was decided that the priest and Kadeks father would make a trip to a nearby sacred cave. Kadek was brought along and witnessed the event that followed. At the sacred cave a dragon appeared and the priest and shaman talked to the dragon and made a deal. It was decided that the priest’s life would be sacrificed and the poisoned man would be saved. 

Soon afterwards the pact came true; the man recovered but the priest died. 

Kadek remembers the episode clearly and drew a picture of what the dragon looked like. He described the length as being about the equivalent of 8 feet and the drawing as shown
