Sanglang Island

Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin

Sanglang means fire, and in the very early part of 1900 the Sultan of Bima was having political problems and decided to move to Island of Sanglang with some of his people. He reportedly had the power to use fire mystically. He was able to have attaching ships catch on fire and he even reportedly used his power to have opposing villages catch on fire while he was on Sanglang.
