Kambira
In the Tana Toraja region of Indonesia, when a child dies before teething, the body is placed inside a hollowed-out portion of a tree, which is then sealed. The tree eventually grows around the child and is considered a sacred ritual, which the people call “Kambira”. It symbolizes a return to nature.
