GAC FRUIT

Native of Vietnam, Gac Fruit is referred to as the “fruit from heaven”.

The fruit is cultivated throughout Southeast Asia and China, often used as an ornamental plant due to its magnificent color.

Traditional Chinese medicine has been using Gac fruit in their herbal remedies for hundreds of years.

Nutritionally it is full of natural antioxidants and it contains one of the highest beta carotene concentrations of any fruit or vegetable.

Beta carotene is the antioxidant which converts to vitamin A in the body and acts to defend against free radicals. This in turn helps to save other important antioxidants and vitamins, in particular; vitamin E (vitamin E is easily destroyed by free radicals). Vitamin E is also beneficial to the prostate.

Gac fruit is mostly only available in Asia and it is a beautiful looking fruit.

It seems that many people neglect eating proper amounts of fruit.

In America the banana is a popular fruit but unfortunately many of the bananas have been grown in toxic soils from Latin America.
