Cloves originated in Indonesia, and the oldest clove tree is 300-400 years old on the island of Ternate, Indonesia

Cloves are used in Asia cuisine and also used as a pain reliever, especially for a toothache.

Nearly every chemical we encounter, from polluction to pesticides, to the ingredients in cometics acts like estrogen when it gets into the body. Cloves contain the nutrient eugenol.
